Thread Detect Activity at the Application Level?

Hi Tim,

This is probably not possible but I was wondering if there is a way to detect mouse movement or key presses at the application level?

The reason I ask is I want to start a timer that automatically logs someone out after a period of inactivity. If there is any user input then the timer restarts.

You can detect key presses at the form level since key presses are previewed by any parent controls before being handled by the control capturing the key press.

But, there's no way (currently) to do so for mouse events.
