Roy Lambert NLH Associates Team Elevate | Just downloaded my copy (its taken this long because we had storms and power cuts) and am starting to figure things out.
I altered the default paths in project options and get [Window Title] Error [Content] Unexpected compilation error: Error creating the application file C:\Users\Roy Lambert\Documents\Elevate Web Builder Projects\E:\EWBTemp\Output\project1.js (Cannot create file "C:\Users\Roy Lambert\Documents\Elevate Web Builder Projects\E:\EWBTemp\Output\project1.js". The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect) [OK] Don't know if its WAD, an optical illusion or what but the lines in the property inspector are fainter on the values side than the property names side. For my wish list so far: 1, Can we have GExperts install <vbg> - mainly for DelForEx 2. Some sort of resize whilst preserving aspect ration would be nice for images Roy Lambert |

Tim Young [Elevate Software] Elevate Software, Inc. timyoung@elevatesoft.com | Roy,
<< I altered the default paths in project options and get >> The paths should be converted to relative paths after exiting the project options, so I'll check this out. << Don't know if its WAD, an optical illusion or what but the lines in the property inspector are fainter on the values side than the property names side. >> It's designed that way. > << 1, Can we have GExperts install <vbg> - mainly for DelForEx >> << 2. Some sort of resize whilst preserving aspect ration would be nice for images >> Good idea, thanks. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

Tim Young [Elevate Software] Elevate Software, Inc. timyoung@elevatesoft.com | Roy,
<< Error creating the application file C:\Users\Roy Lambert\Documents\Elevate Web Builder Projects\E:\EWBTemp\Output\project1.js (Cannot create file "C:\Users\Roy Lambert\Documents\Elevate Web Builder Projects\E:\EWBTemp\Output\project1.js". The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect) >> Okay, I finally noticed here that you are using a different drive/volume for the output paths. The output paths (output, image, and theme) are all required to be relative to the base project path, so they must be on the same drive. However, EWB wasn't catching a False for the ForceDirectories call that it attempts (when it tries to create the output paths) and displaying the proper error message, which is now fixed. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
