Tim,

/*
2.06 will be out before the end of the week.  I'm uploading the last release candidate beta today, and then I just need to get ElevateDB 2.25 uploaded and then I'll start preparing EWB 2.06 for upload.
*/

That's great to hear! I am looking to starting the new project with it.

I have not installed 2.06 but used both 2.04 and 2.05 on the same machine without problems. The format of the ewbide.ini file changed between the two versions so I needed to keep a separate copy for each version and use the appropriate one as required.

I have not seen anything to say that the format of the ini file has changed for 2.06 - but I might not have been paying attention.

If I am not mistaken, installing a new version of EWB will uninstall the older version first? I would have liked that EWB keeps all its files within the installation directory so that you keep any version together. Sometimes, a project may have been created for a client that does not require an update and was created by an older version of EWB and you don't want any new versions of EWB to touch it.

I will try keeping the 2.05 and 2.06 versions together when the latter is released to see if it is feasible.
