Thread Alignment Toolbar

While looking at the new EWB book, I "noticed" the alignment toolbar
and nearly got excited by the idea that perhaps it might allow me to
control the layout properties of the selected controls easily. And then
I realised it was the usual "old" align centre and so on - so last
century. 8-)

But I figure the idea of a toolbar for layout control is a good one, so
perhaps for 1.06?

It was the best version ever, and I will never move forward!

Or, maybe I've just driven back from a weekend away and am still brain
dead from the motorway concentrating. 8-)

Any future version would be fine.

Matthew,

What in particular are you envisioning ?   Just something that replaces the layout options with buttons for each option ?

Quite so. Button for layout top-left, top-right, etc. Perhaps "move up
in order, down in order"? Consumption, stretch (perhaps the latter when
you press Shift to save buttons. Maybe the common needs, and a "loop"
for going round the other options. Margins also quite nice to have a
+/- facility for.

The auto-layout is one of the best things EWB has - I wish it was in
Delphi too. Having buttons to make the changes easy would be good.
