Uli,

<< Long way to 2.5 ... Frown>>

Yep, I need to get the product working entirely as-desired from an end-user/deployment standpoint before concentrating on improving the developer experience.  That's what I've said since EWB 2.x was announced, so it shouldn't be a disappointment or surprising to anyone....

Will there also be updates to Elevate web server and EWB Modules in this version?

It doesn't matter too much right now, but I would quite like the
command line compiler to match the importance of the IDE in future. The
fact that a build process fails and now needs manual intervention is
quite important. I realise I'm the only command line user ( 8-) ) but
it is a pain when I accidentally release a shop with an "I agree to the
terms and conditions" check box that you can't actually tell if it is
checked or not.

As it happens, I'm away next week, so it 2.05 is really out soon then
all will be well.

Yes, to accommodate the database changes.

This was a bug, no more, no less.  It has nothing to do with what I consider "important".

I'm really looking forward to that.

Steve,

So am I.  It will finally allow you to create EWB back-ends on very inexpensive hosting services that provide a LAMP stack.  Plus, it will be stone-cold-simple to set up MySQL dataset definitions in PHP code.

Yeah, I'll probably add some formatting to the inputs when I deal with some of the TDataSet limitations.
