Never mind. I misled you here - it shows the wbs file (unit) and not the
interface file (wbi).

I just tried this here and it looks OK both design and runtime - i made
the radios from 24 to 20 size to reduce diameter (looking at this thread
i think that was your goal).

So in my case i

1. Copied 3 tradiobutton related files (tradiobuttonindeterminate,
tradiobuttonselected and tradiobuttonunselected) into the project folder.

2. Opened the EWB and the project and selected one of the radio buttons.

3. Clicked the interface editor (2nd last icon) and when it opened i
hovered over the tab and it shows the wbi is from my project folder (and
not ewb default install folder)

3. Changed the radio button circle height and width from 24 to 20 and
also fonticon element from 12 to 10.

4. also opened the other 2 interface files

5. when saving EWB prompted to rebuild and reopen and then

After that the radios for that project look smaller as expected in
design and also runtime - attached pic shows the runtime screenshots
(hope i won't getin trouble for posting pics but it's just 15K).

<< 4. Next frim within EWB2 I went to Enviroment, Options, Component Library, click on the button at the end of the "Search Path" field and then added the path to the interfaces folder in (1) above. >>

This is the problem:  don't add a new search path to the Component Library search paths, add one to the *project's* search paths.  When you do so and click on the OK button in the Project/Options dialog, you'll see a prompt from EWB asking you if you want to re-load the current project.  Click on Yes, and you should see the new interfaces picked up for your project.

Now, if you really *want* to globally replace the interface files for the Component Library, and not just on a per-project basis, then you can do what you've already done, but don't add the path at the end of the list of Component Library search paths, move it up so that it is *before* the default search path for the interface files.

Where in EWB do you go to add this new path to the "project path"?

Thanks,
