Thread Just me, or everyone? TEdit click-jump

Have I broken something, or is this general? Bad, or not?

Put a TEdit on a form, set the text the "Hello". Run. Now, click and
hold in the edit location - does the text move left a pixel or two?

I was thinking this was one of those odd FireMonkey like jumping text
things, and how could IE do it, but then I remembered that we have
those hot and down states, and maybe this is EWB's default. To me,
particularly when the text is selected, it looks faulty. I'd prefer it
to stay static. Does it happen for anyone else, and should it be
corrected? Or is it something I've broken or should fix myself?

Hmmm. I'm seeing it in IDE but when i use chrome or firefox it's fine
(text does not jump at all).

Matthew,

Did you modify the TEdit control interface ?

I'm not seeing anything like that here, but I'm also running a slightly newer version of EWB.  However, I'm still using the same control interfaces that are in 2.04, which are what control all of this.

No. Quite distinct for me here, but I can't see anything in the
interface that would cause it - all states are apparently the same. I
will see if I can pin it down after the next update of EWB.
