Thread Animation of visible

These animations - are they as simple to use as they look like they
might be? I have a panel that has action links that I show when the
mouse is over the panel, and hide when it is not. The enter/leave
events just change the Visible property for them. It works, but it is
not "smooth".

Am I right in thinking that I can set the Animation of Visible to
asLinear, and it will then automatically fade in and out when Visible
is changed? I presume it automatically changes direction or something?
Not sure how all the other variations would apply to visibility.

Yes.

You are correct.

Yes.  EWB can stop any animation mid-stream, and change the animation to going in a different "direction".

You should check out the other animation styles.  A linear animation is okay, but it's a bit unnatural compared to some of the easing animations.
