Tim,

you are developing and supporting  3 major products  -  which is not any easy task I understand that perfectly. But as history shows you may get occupied with the elder brothers. I am not skilled enough in English to put this into words kindly enough:  with EWB you tend to sit on the fixes  instead of releasing them.  So just a  few  suggestions:

 -  an official place for available  hotfixes/workarounds
 -  bugfix mostly/only releases following closly the release of new functionalty, till there is a version which can be considered stable

Cheers,
Leslie

I totally agree, but so, I think, does Tim. This is pretty much what he has done.
1.02 was pretty stable, and 1.03 is good but has a few issues that Tim says he is
onto with a fix soon.

When there have been issues, Tim has posted the code here to overcome it if he can,
or told us what to do. Patching the framework is easy, and the only proviso (apart
from making a backup!) is that you need to restart the IDE to have the change take
affect.

I agree with both of you, but it would nice if there was one place to go, and not have to read and fish through every message in the forum for Hot Fixes.

Also it would be nice if we could easily see the incident reports that have been submitted... right now you have to know the number, or guess what the last number is near and try a bunch to see what people have submitted.

1.03 was an anomaly, and I'm not purposefully sitting on bug fixes.  There
were simply a lot of one-time changes, both in the product and here in terms
of infrastructure for the builds/uploads, that prevented me from doing the
1.03 release for a particularly long time, and they won't be occurring
again.  Normally, a new build for EWB is out within a couple of weeks of an
incident report.
