I was trying out the trial version of EWB and I can't seem to find any way to change the properties of an existing dataset. None of the demos work because the database cannot be found, and I can't see how to change that.

I can add a new dataset fine, but after that there doesn't seem to be any way to view or edit those properties. Is that because it's the trial version, or is there just no way to do it ?

The toolbar buttons are for add and delete only. However if you double
click on the actual dataset in the dataset manager you can modify
everything other than type and name.

That only applies to datasets which I create. There doesn't seem to be a way to edit the cdcollector demo Albums and Tracks datasets. This seems to imply that if my drive crashed and I reinstalled EWB I would be unable to edit any of my previously written programs. That's a significant problem, and probably reason enough not to buy EWB at this point.

nm, I get it now. I was thinking in terms of a desktop app.
