Interesting question. The underlying javascript has floating point, and
IIRC doesn't actually have integer. I suspect that EWB either does, or
could, or integers are really floats.

I don't think I helped much did I? If not one else has responded by Tuesday
when I'm at my desk, I'll experiment.

This is an omission and it's now correct.  EWB supports the Double
floating-point type.
