Carlos | Lol. The reason why I called Mr. Young Sir, is because
I come from a Law Enforcement family and been an officer my self. Plus, respects to whom respects merits. I am not so sure who I invented this product, I assume that Mr. Young did, so I think, that The "Sir" or higher title very well applies. Regards Carlos Roy Lambert wrote: Tim >I know, I like the sound of that. So Chris, how hard is it to get knighted >???? Dunno who Chris is but its pretty easy to get knighted. All knights have the right to give the accolade to others. That was never taken away it just gradually became bad manners for anyone other than a reigning monarch to do it. So either find a knight and bribe him or make a very large donation to the UK political party of your choice and when they're next in power you'll be knighted. The easiest and cheapest way is simply to change your name to Sir by deep poll or whatever system you use over there. But why stick at knight become a Duke or Leroy (the king) Roy |

<< Dunno who Chris is >> Chris Holland - he's my go-to guy in the UK because he's actually related to a good friend of ours here in western NY. No offense to you and all of the other great folks there, although I my gut tells me that I should beware of what the Scottish tell me about England.... << but its pretty easy to get knighted. Never mind, Chris, I'll do it myself. Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

<< Not sure about how to go about getting knighted, but as Steve pointed out you can buy all sorts of titles from Lord, Count, Baron etc. >> So it's sort of like buying a t-shirt that says "World's Greatest Dad" ? Thanks, Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

You'll be very welcome BUT you have to like rain (a lot) and dark nights and mornings for half the year, oh yes and wind (no not me going on but the atmospheric variety). On the cultural side the nearest place with more than 10 shops is 95 miles away and as for theatre or cinema that's the same. The main thing we have is LOTS of space. >Charming....in an "American Werewolf in London" kind of way. I think that was Yorkshire (strangely enough the county I was born in) but I'll get the film out sometime soon and check. I've never been able to make my mind up wether its a comedy or horror. Please vote now. Roy |
