It would to great to use a (tiled) background image instead of a plain
color in EWB. Will that be possible in a future release?

BTW: RGB is totally confusing - I mean, at least #C0FFEE should be
brown, right? Smiley

My favourite number Smileand yes it is confusing. Maybe it has #faded1 or

Yes. The whole issue with images as backgrounds goes to the transparency
deficiencies of Windows container controls (imagine a partially-transparent
themed form frame over a tiled image on the desktop), and is one of the
reasons why MS came up with WPF in the first place.  I have to do something
similar with EWB and add my own WPF to EWB for design-time usage.  It sounds
difficult, but it's not too bad and will be done as part of the process of
opening up the IDE to 3rd party components/controls.
