I see in the latest blog post that Linux server support is conditional on getting OpenSSL working. Can I suggest that if you can't do that in time, you release anyway with plain http only? If I were to deploy today, I'd probably be putting it behind a reverse proxy anyway, and hopefully in a container. Having tried to work out what makes sense for a load of web services we are working on, we decided that internal security just complicates things, and doing SSL via the reverse proxy which can then divert to the real service either on the machine or as a container, is the way forward. It may not fit everyone, and probably shouldn't be default, but perhaps it might help get some users out there?
