# 1115 RepairTable Method Not Repairing Duplicate Record IDs in Corrupted Tables

Copy the database in attachement on hard disk, go dbsys (3.10 or 3.08), open query on this table and write "delete from su_dat where linknr>1000". You will get an "index page buffer corrupt..."-message (Windows 98, PIV 1,7 GHz, VMWare 3.0!)

The query order is evident. When the order is only "delete from su_dat", then i'll get after some seconds "Invalid pointer". The size of table is possibly evident too.

Very interesting is also that a verify on the table find a error. I repair the table an verify again an get the same error message.

Comments Comments
The table mentioned above was corrupted and had a duplicate record ID in one of the records, which was not being repaired properly when RepairTable executed.
