# 1574 ODBC Driver Causes AV When Accessing Remote Database Server
I'm getting the following error with remote ODBC connection:

"Access violation at address 01CFCBF2 in module 'dbodbc.dll'. Read of address 00000008."

This was due to a problem caused by incident # 1560 and this fix requires that both the client ODBC driver and the database server be updated to 4.04 in order to fix this problem and fully implement what was supposedly fixed in incident #1560.

Fixed Problem on 2/14/2004 in version 4.04 build 1
