# 2127 Database Descriptions Not Being Saved Properly in Database Server

I create a new database on the server, with a discription. The database name, this description and the path will be returned via Engine.GetServerDatabase...This works fine till I stop and restart the server. After that the db name and the path are still there but the desciption is lost. Because of multiple databases on one server I really would need the description.

Comments

This is the reason for the minor version increment to 4.22 from 4.21. The database server configuration is version-stamped, and the problem was simply that it wasn't saving the database description during modifications.

Resolution

Fixed Problem on 11/16/2005 in version 4.22 build 1
