# 3012 Clearing a BLOB Field Does Not Result in the Field Being Reported as NULL

If I clear a Blob field record in DBSys and then run Verify, DBSys reports "BlobSize Mismatch ...".

The record's BlobSize is ZERO, but DBSys is representing the record as not Null (ie, as "(BLOB)" in the Grid).

Comments

The verify/repair was incorrectly reporting an error when it shouldn't have been.

Resolution

Fixed Problem on 6/23/2009 in version 4.28 build 4
