# 2554 Delphi 5 Experiencing Internal Compiler Error L1496 When Compiling Application That Uses EDBComps

Delphi 5 returns an error L1496 when compiling programs. Reverting back to version 1.07 b3 works fine. I have uninstalled the Delphi 5 version, deleted all files in the ElevateDB Delphi 5 directory and tried again with the same results.

We were unable to come up with an actual solution to this problem other than to include the edbcomps.pas unit source file in the same directory as the rest of the ElevateDB .dcu files. This solves the problem in that it gets around the internal error.

Fixed Problem on 2/18/2008 in version 1.09 build 1
