# 2660 Altering a Constraint Causes a Parsing Error

When trying to alter a check constraint using EDB 2 Manager I always get the message:

Error #700 An error was found in the statement at line 2 and column 25 (Expected DESCRIPTION but instead found AS)

ALTER TABLE "CampanhasD" ALTER CONSTRAINT "Chk1" AS CHECK (NumCampanha < 510000)

Comments

This issue occurs with any constraint type, not just CHECK constraints.

Resolution

Fixed Problem on 6/15/2008 in version 2.00 build 2
