# 2873 Trying to Connect to a Database with Views Causes Object Reference Error
When trying to test a new connection in the Server Explorer in Visual Studio, the following error is raised:

Object reference not set to an instance of an object

The problem was with internal catalog references to triggers for views, which would cause this error when trying to connect to any database that contained views.

Fixed Problem on 12/16/2008 in version 2.02 build 6
