# 2942 Executing a DELETE Statement Can Cause #601 Invalid Page Number Specified Error

I have started to get the following error whenever I try to run a 'DELETE FROM ' on one particular table:

ElevateDB Error #601 The table EDAWARC is corrupt (Invalid index page number specified for retrieval from cache)

Comments Comments
This problem will cause index corruption, so if you see this error message you should immediately repair the affected table using 2.02 Build 9 or higher. If you don't see the error message, then the indexes are fine and can be left alone. However, all customers are recommended to update to 2.02 Build 9 to insulate themselves from this being a potential issue.

Resolution Resolution
