# 678 Deleting the .IDX File for a Table Causes an #8961 Header Corrupt Error Message Upon Opening

We have very large tables (about 3 million records) with 7 indexes. To improve the erasing of all indexes, I delete the IDX file. It's much faster than Table.DeleteAllIndexes method. With 2.05, when I open a table without a IDX file, the DbIsam engine creates a new one but returns a "Header corrupted" error. Then I have to do a RepairTable to fix it.
