# 2484 Using Very Long Database Names Can Cause Invalid Temporary Table Error During ALTER TABLE Execution

Using the unicode build of EDB Manager if i add a new column (alter table) it generates an error: "ElevateDB Error #406 Invalid temporary table identifier".

Comments and Workarounds

The workaround is to use a shorter database name. The database name is used as part of the temporary table names.

Fixed Problem on 11/20/2007 in version 1.07 build 1
