# 2618 ElevateDB Server Window Hangs When Running as a Service

There is still one situation when EDB server window hangs. This situation exists only when the server works as a service.

Steps:
1) edbsrvr /install
2) net start edbsrvr
3) restore server window
4) logout current windows user
5) login the same windows user

After login EBD server window will be restored but couldn't be closed (hangs). This situation doesn't exists in application mode because logout close whole application.
