# 2689 ODBC Driver Causing Commit Error with Microsoft Access

The table "Tbl1" has one integer column and when I try to update a row or insert a new one with Acess 2003 I get the following error:

ElevateDB Error #404 Transaction error: This operation cannot be performed without an active transaction on the database TestODBC (COMMIT on TestODBC)

However, the row is updated (or inserted).

This was also an issue with Access 2007, and most likely also with any prior versions of Access (2002, 2000).
