# 3308 TClientDataSet Component Not Displaying DECIMAL Values Correctly
It seems there are some issues with Decimal/

I tested with a couple of DBGrids, one linked to DataSource-CDS-DSProvider-EDBQuery-EDBUpdateSQL with an option to create a custom SQL string in OnBeforeUpdateRecord event, and the other linked to a plain EDBTable as a check.

It seems that ClientDS does not *display* DECIMAL correctly: if I insert/update a decimal column the value is written correctly, but after refreshing it is displayed as 0.
