# 3538 Expression Errors in Views Can Cause AV When Trying to Display Error Message

Can you please check what happens with this database? When I try to open a table in edbmanager I get error 9999, but when I open a table with a select command I can see the data!?!?

Comments Comments
The problem was with an expression error in one of the views, and this was being triggered by the dependency loading functionality in the EDB Manager, which was causing the view to be compiled so that the dependencies could be loaded for the view.
