# 3541 Altering a Table Causes Generated Columns To Be Re-Generated

I have tables with the following constraints. After I alter this table using EDB 2.07b1 all fields based on above constraints change their values.

GENERATED ALWAYS AS CURRENT_USER

GENERATED ALWAYS AS CURRENT_TIMESTAMP

Comments

This was not a new issue with 2.07, rather this behavior has been present in EDB since its first release.

Resolution

Fixed Problem on 2/4/2012 in version 2.08 build 1
