# 4114 64-bit ODBC Driver Displays Blank Data During Mail Merge in Microsoft Word

Cannot get the ODBC driver to work with Microsoft Word 2013 x64 mail merge. Everything appears normal except no data appears. It seems to work just fine with Word 2010 x64.

1. Create the sample Tutorial database
2. Create a 64 bit data source for it.
3. Try to do word mail merge.

Comments Comments
The problem was caused by the 64-bit ElevateDB ODBC Driver forcing a 64-bit pointer value into a 32-bit pointer value internally, thus causing internal AV errors that were "eaten" by Word during fetches of the rows.
