# 4126 ODBC Driver Can Experience Catalog Query Errors When Accessing ANSI Databases

I created an ANSI version of the tutorial database and when I try to connect with Access, I get the following error message:

ODBC - call failed. " Error #700 An error was found in the statement at line 1 column 62 (ElevateDB Error #401 The collation UNI does not exist in the configuration EDBConfig).

Comments Comments
The ODBC driver was forcing the use of the UNI collation when it should have been using the ANSI collation instead for ANSI database catalog queries.
