# 4762 Trying to Restore a Database on MacOS Causes an ElevateDB #600 Error

About the only thing I don't have working in the Mac port of my app for pastors to track their books, sermons, etc, is the native EDB restore function. It always generates an Error 600 message followed by the attached error message dialog:

Error Msg: File manager error (Cannot rename the file....)

I've manually set the EDB engine's TempTablesPath to /tmp, and it's a new Mac with loads of room on the hard drive and the files I'm restoring are not large.

Comments Comments
The MacOS call (actually the POSIX call) for renaming the file was using an incorrect result code comparison.
