# 3661 Non-Data-Bound Grid Components Not Handling Check Boxes Correctly

I'm trying to build an orders page for my website and create a summary of items ordered by populating a Grid.

I have a 'Remove' column defined as a ctCheckBox with the AllowEdit property set to true and ReadOnly set to false.

I can populate the grid with no problem but I cannot chang the Remove checkbox by clicking on it. When I click it
nothing happens. If I double click the check box, I get the error 'Unable to get value of property 'toLocalUpperCase':
object is null or undefined.
