(1) USing EDB Mgr, I select Alter table.  Made no chnages, clicked OK
button and it hangs.

(2) Created 2 tables each with a Guid Primary key.  Tried to creae a
Foriegn in 2nd key.  It correctly selects the Customer table as the
target table but asks for a target constraint, but nothing shows in the
combo box drop down.  Click OK anyway and it hangs.  I can't seem to
sucessfully create a foriegn key constaint using EDB Manager.

(3) Created a field, type GUID. Check GENERATE box.  I didn't know if I
could use the same default expression for Guild fields as in Dbiasm 4
so tried it anyway, but CURRENT_GUID did not work and it hung again.

Overall, I like the EDB Interface.

I can't reproduce that, but it could be related to the Locate issue
mentioned already.  Is this local or remote ?

I'll look into these two issues and get back to you.

Hi Tim. It was local.

David,

I think I found it - it's not hanging permanently, but it takes a long time
to come back.  It's a catalog locking issue that crops up when an error
occurs during an ALTER TABLE.
