Subscriptions

A 1-year, free subscription is automatically included with every product license purchase. The 1-year period is calculated using a 365-day rolling window. Subscriptions are available for each product, and each subscription includes minor releases, bug fix builds, and online product support within the subscription's 1-year window, as well as all major releases prior to the 1-year window of the subscription. Online product support is provided via our support forums. Please see the Technical Support page for more information on the available support options and links to each product's support forums.

30 days before a subscription expires, Elevate Software will send you an email notification to alert you to the fact that a new subscription will need to be purchased. An email notification will then again be sent 14 days before a subscription expires. After the subscription has expired, you will be required to purchase a new 1-year subscription in order to continue having access to any new minor releases and online product support.

Once a subscription has expired, you will continue to have access to any minor releases or builds created prior to the subscription expiration date. In addition, you will continue to have access to any new builds for the last minor release created prior to the subscription expiration date. You will also continue to have access to the online product support forums. However, you will only be able to read messages, and will no longer be able to post messages.

Information If your current subscription has been expired for more than 2 years (which would be 3 years from the original date of purchase or your last subscription renewal) you will not be able to simply renew your subscription in order to access the latest version of the applicable product. You will be required to purchase a new license at an upgrade price equal to 50% of the list price.

If your current subscription has been expired for more than 4 years (which would be 5 years from the original date of purchase or your last subscription renewal) you will not be able to simply renew your subscription in order to access the latest version of the applicable product. You will be required to purchase a new license at full list price.

If you are a customer, you can view all of the information about your existing subscriptions by logging in using the Login link in the top right corner of this page, and then clicking on the Subscriptions link that will appear on he right after logging in.

How to Order

You may order any Elevate Software product online using the product links to the right. Ordering options are presented for each product, as well as options for upgrading existing purchases to newer product releases or different product types.

Information If you are using a secured credit card with a one-time CVV, a direct payment link can be requested at checkout. No card details will be required when using this option.

After the purchase of any Elevate Software product(s), you will be sent an order acknowledgement containing information about your purchase along with instructions and links that will allow you to quickly and easily download any purchased products.

The distribution of all Elevate Software products is done via electronic download or on-demand email from this web site. If you are an existing customer, you can download your purchased products by logging in using the Login link in the top right corner of this page, and then clicking on the Downloads link at the top of this page.

By default, all order acknowledgements and related paperwork are sent to you via email. If you are an existing customer and need a printed invoice, you can print one for any order by logging in using the Login link in the top right corner of this page, and then clicking on the Purchase History link that will appear on the right after logging in.

Royalty-Free Licensing Royalty-Free Licensing

Elevate Software licenses its database engine products for royalty-free use with your compiled and distributed applications. You are only required to buy a single license for each licensed copy of the development environment that you use to build your application along with the Elevate Software database engine product.

All applications created using Elevate Software web application development products can be distributed royalty-free. You are only required to buy a single license for each developer that is using the product to create and/or compile any web application.

Upgrades Upgrades

Elevate Software provides minor releases (x.01, x.02) and bug fix builds for any purchased product that has an active subscription.

Major upgrades (1.x, 2.x) are free if you have purchased a product within 90 days of the upgrade release date. If you have not purchased the product within this 90-day period, then you will be required to purchase the major upgrade using the special upgrade offer provided at the time. Major upgrades that are purchased for the prior version within the 90-day period are not eligible for a free upgrade to the new version once it becomes available.

For example, if you were to purchase the upgrade from a version 2 product to a version 3 product within the 90-day period before the release of version 4, you would not be eligible for a free upgrade to a version 4 product.
