<< EDB Manager opens in maximized stated but it doesn't actually maximize the window. >> As far as I can tell this is a bug in Delphi, and unfortunately I can't find a workaround yet. Some have suggested on the Borland newsgroups that the issue is with the "center" options for the form's Position property, but we're not using any of those and the behavior is the same for all of the Position property values. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

<< How about calling "LoadLayoutSettings" on FormShow event ? >> I tried it in FormActivate, now trying it in FormShow.....nope, same problem. It's definitely something very insidious. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

<< Found it! >> Thanks very much. Unfortunately there are still some bad side-effects because the Window is initially shown smaller (flicker and resizing issues). I'll keep working on it, though. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
