I am trying to convert from v4.x to ElevateDB and it's has it's
problems.  What steps are you suggesting to do to do this painlessly?
Smiley

From the time I have spent, it's not going to be totally painless is
it? Smiley

You'll have to be more specific.  What exactly are you having trouble with ?

How do you propose we replace the database, session, tables and queries?

I have added the new units and removed the old ones from each unit that
has the components.  Renamed the old components with the new names.  I
understand that properties will not be compatible but the errors can be
ignored from what I have seen in the past dealing with Delphi.

I don't want to have to remove the components from the form(s) and
replace them manually.  Nor do I want to rewrite the application. Smile

Please advise.

Thanks,

Craig

Do you mean change the TDBISAMTable, etc. components to TEDBTable components
?

If so, then check out something like GExperts:

http://www.gexperts.org/

It can do bulk component renaming on forms/data modules.
