Design-time BDSDelphi2006 unstable and CPU to 100% (Build 4) |

"Carlos Guerra" | Hi Tim
I was able to use the ElevateDB Server in conjunction with ElevateDB Manager, I also could migrate my 86 v4 tables and browse them, so no problem on the ElevateDB Manager or the Server side. On the other hand, building a basic Remote example project without using any code at all, just pure Components on the form and linking them via the Object Inspector was not quite possible to make it work. I drop two tables, one of them linked to the other via the MasterSource and MasterField, two DBGrids and two DBNavigator for each table, then try to active the tables on design-time, this was not possible, the Server stop responding and the CPU went to 100% and Delphi become completely unstable. BTW, I was using the same machine for the Server and BDS 2006 Hope this helps you. Regards Carlos Guerra |
