"Ralf Bertoldi"
Tryed to reproduce the "hanging" of EDB manager

What I did:

new manager install
create database
open database
create table "mytable"
add column  name=id   type=integer
click "Add Column"
Click "OK" to close
At properties tab rightclick  "Alter table"
Version Number is "1,00" - change to "1"
click "OK"
Again: "Alter table"
cjange version number to 2
click "OK"
click "Refresh"
Version in Details is still "1,00"
(if you would close and reopen the manager at this point it would show
"2,00")
Again "Alter table"
don't change the version no.
click "OK" - "You must provide a valid version number"
change version no. to "2"
click "OK" - Access violation at adress 0045CB7C in module
'edbmgr.exe'. Read of adress 000000024.
--------------------
drop db
--------------------
create new database
create table "mytable"
add column "id" integer
click "ok"
click "Alter table"
click on columnn "id" change Name to "id1" - click "Add column"
click "OK" "Version number.." - change Version to "2"
Error #700 found in statement line 3 and column 19 (Expected SET, DROP,
MOVE, DESCRIPTION but instead found DEFAULT)
Click "cancel"
Browsed the table..
Click "Alter table"
change version no. to "2"
Click "OK"
manager "hangs".. cursor is "busy"... after a while "Access violation
at adress 0056C7D5 in Module 'edbmgr.exe'. Read of adress 00000008.
Clicked again "OK" ... same but cursor is SQLwait...
