Hi,

I created a table within a database and ran the backup for this table.

I then altered the structure of the original table
and tried to restore from the backup the manager just hung.

It hung during the restore or it hung when you tried to open the table ?
Did you backup and restore the catalog also ?

Can you send me the catalog and tables that you're using ?  I tried the same
thing this morning and I simply received the error that the table could not
be restored because the version numbers didn't match, which is the correct
response from EDB.
