Do you have a revised ETA on b11 please? The bugs in the ADO.NET provider
are causing me real grief since I went live with EDB a few days ago! Frown

Thanks,

Hedley

Well, same old story - I shoot for a specific day and then I get new bug
reports or incidents that need examined before the build goes out.  I'm
going to try to get the builds going again this evening.

Hi Tim,

I'm really sorry to be a pain, but I was wondering if you can give me a
quick update on build 11?

The problem is that I have customers who cannot delete records and who have
various features of my app unavailable to them because of the issues with
the ADO.NET driver in build 10 - issues which I know you have already fixed!

I've been telling them for a week that there'll be an update "any day now"
which will fix their problems, but I'm coming under a bit fire now! Hope you
can help.

Regards,

Hedley

Hedley,

It should be available late tonight or early tomorrow.  But please
remember - this is not written in stone.  If something comes to my attention
before then, then things may be delayed a bit.  There's nothing I can do
about this.

Fixing any issues is the easy part.  Freezing the code long enough to enter
in the incident reports, set up the appropriate tests, run the tests, and
then execute the builds, is a different story.  Every time that there's a
"gotta have a fix" incident report, the whole process has to start over
again.  I've held off builds a few times so that I could squeeze in fixes
for you personally, so you can see why other customers might think this is
unfair that I don't extend them the same benefit.
