According to the web site, distribution of the DAC trial is not
permitted. This means I'cant make it directly available to my
customers. Instead they have to go through the tedious process of
signing up on the Elevate site in order to try it out. Consider
changing this policy to allow your customers to distribute the trial
from their site.

Our licenses have never allowed for third-party distribution of trial
versions.  As for the evaluation signup: we are entitled to track who is
evaluating our products.  We use that information to determine if our
marketing efforts are working, or where best to direct our marketing
dollars.

I agree with, Tim. Elevate should be the allowed to be the sole distributor
of the product, trial or otherwise.

Tim, you can track links from other sites, but it may be more of a pain than
what it is worth.

Good point, I always forget about that.  However, it doesn't always capture
exactly how someone heard about us, especially if they aren't clicking
directly on a Google ad, etc.  We also get click-through information through
our Google ads.
