Elevate ODBC connection through Crystal Reports |

Badenhorst | Hi, I finally managed to get the Elevate 2 ODBC driver configured, however - connecting to it via Crystal Reports I get no table listings, just a scripting option which does not work as I get an ERROR 700 - table does not exist on a simple select statement? What am I doing wrong? Please Help.
Best Regards Lourens |

Chris Holland SEC Solutions Ltd. Team Elevate | Hi Lourens,
I belive that some versions of Crystal Reports had problems with the SQL that they produced not being compatible with the ODBC driver. Can you type in the SQL manually or does it have to be produced by Crystal from a visual query? Can you check the SQL that is being produced? Badenhorst | Hi Chris,
Thanks for the reply, the only option that the connection allows me is to do is to type the SQL manually, from which is returns a Error of table not found... If I check the ODBC connection to my SQL database through the Windows control panel, it finds the database, but in Crystal 2008, it just doesn't work - no table listing and I guess that is the reason the SQL script returns an error, my standard SQL Connections provide me with the table, views and stored procedure listings and thus I came to the conclusion that the Elevate ODBC driver is not providing Crystal with the correct information, please help... Chris Holland SEC Solutions Ltd. Team Elevate | Hi,
Can you post the SQL that you typed in manually when it returned an error.
