Adam Brett Orixa Systems | I seem to be having the same problem as this post from some time back:
http://www.elevatesoft.com/forums?action=view&category=edb&id=edb_connect&msg=194&page=1 I have EDB ODBC driver installed & the whole installation process was easy, I selected a named database at the end of the process ... so the ODBC parts of windows can clearly see the data. However in MSExcel 2007, using the standard route: Data -> Connect "Other" -> OLEDBC -> Custom ODBC ->Elevate ODBC Driver. Everything goes just fine up to the final stage when I get the error message above. Note that I do have large file support ticked ... The set up is pretty vanilla: an XP box, with MSExcel installed, I am expecting to make local Excel sheets here which will be accessed by Windows Active Directory so users on a network can open them read-only. |

Adam Brett Orixa Systems | Sorry everyone, please ignore the above post, I had the same "build 7" problem as everyone else, with build 9 the driver works like a dream.
