Tim,

/Install Packages, you will see the design-time package listed under
Design Packages.  Click on the EDB design-time package for the trial
version (you can tell by the path at the bottom of the list), and
then click on Remove.  Then, if the full standard version's
design-time package is also listed, you can just click on its check
box to enable it.
<<

There is only one EDB Design Time Package Listed. Here is the file
location of that package.

C:\Program Files\ElevateDB 2 VCL-STD\RAD Studio (Delphi-Unicode)
2010\code\edb205s2010design.bpl

I will try Roy's suggestion of removing and reinstalling with a delete
of all the ed*.bpl files.

Roy,

Things sometimes get left around so:

1. Uninstall the full version using Add/Remove Programs
2. Search for and delete any edb*.bpl file
3. Belt and braces - delete the install directory
4. Reinstall

What does "Belt and braces" mean?

Think of a person (back in the olden days it would have been a man) who wears trousers. Back then tailoring wasn't such a precise art and trousers tended to slide down so you wore a belt, or you wore braces to stop from showing your bum. If you were really paranoid about it and absolutely determined to keep your privates private you wore a belt and braces.

Hence it means to make absolutely sure.

Thank you for clearing that up.
