jdm77 | Have an installed Service of elevate but I am having trouble connecting to it. So I stopped service and tried to run the dbsrvr.exe as an application, when I click on Start Server I get the following error on my end users machine
ElevateDB Error #505 The ElevateDB server cannot be started (Socket error: an attempt was made to access a socket in a way forbidden by its access permission. (10013), on API 'listen') Even if i start the service and do a netstat -ano, the port 12010 doesn't show up even though the service is started. They are running Windows Vista, we ran it on another Vista machine just fine. |

You'll need to add edbsrvr.exe as an exception in the firewall rules in order to allow it to listen on port 12010. If you have any other questions, please let me know.
