Hi,

I already have a windows application that uses EDB very successfully, which I need to move to the cloud and use RAD Server and FMX for mobile development. As I am very satisfied with EDB I would like to retain this as my database server and continue using it for both the current desktop application as well as the mobile version.

Is the ODBC driver of EDB sufficient to connect it to the RAD Server (using FireDAC).

Thanks,

George

It should be.  I was able to access an EDB database via a FD connection using the ODBC driver easily.  So as long as the server with RAD server on it is a Windows box, you should be able to use this configuration.

Thanks Terry for the feedback, the dimension of the OS environment that you point out is also something to consider going forward.
