I've now tried:

on-line using Embarcadero's own web interface
my own software
Thunderbird
Agent
Xana
an ooold version of Gravity

but in the words of Catweasel "nothing works"

I'm starting to get posts from the various ngs again but not as many as I would expect, and none of them the ones I know are missing.

Hi Roy

Sorry had a trip to Aberdeen today so only just back.
No, I was not getting any new posts which is why I went looking for a
possible 'Under Maintenance' page.
However, my main reason for posting was because posting to the effect
that is is not workiong usually has the desired effect .. and I now see
it is up and running again. QED

I am on XanaNews 1.19.1.320 but the .zip-ed installer is dated 2 April
2011 (!) narrowly avoiding the April Fool.

I'm getting some posts back through again, including one response to a post of mine that doesn't appear. Their newsgroups are just seriously stuffed.

Hope you enjoyed Aberdeen. Last time I was there was about 20 years ago and I remember drinking Remy XO in the hotel I was staying in. Needless to say - on expenses.

I was inspecting the new aquatics complex as we have a competition
there next weekend.
It is really nice from my POV as the diving pool is completely separate
from the swimming - in a separate hall.
Unfortunately the IT guy who set up the network connection was away on
holiday and his partner in crime was 'not on seat' so all I found were
7 LAN ports, all dead, so no way to connect to the control room (in the
swimming hall) and therefore no way to get the scoreboard 'working'.
But the aquatics staff were all very nice and helpful.

They now have my  action points so fingers crossed for next weekend
(but I have my 'wing-it' plan prepared).  Smiley
