I keep thinking it would be a good idea to switch to Lazarus. I am reasonably sure I could convert my own component set. The one thing that stops me is that I have yet to find an equivalent to WPTools.

Given enough time I could roll my own for the functionality I use but I'm not motivated to do so

None of my googling has turned anything up and I was just wondering if any of you lot had come across something.

I use WPTools mainly for emails and hence I need something that will handle HTML and provide the features found in rich format emails.

Have you asked if WPTools is compilable with Freepascal? I can't see
anything, but it would be the first step to having them consider it.

It isn't. Julian did look at it at one point before 64bit Delphi came out but now he's not going to support Lazarus / Free Pascal, he doesn't see the need

Strangely enough, as a hobbyist, I have no desire to spend €1059 for the source to try and cross compile
