I've been using Maxthon for yonks. I'm still happy to use it on my W7x64 i7 main machine but the little W10x32 atom ASUS is a bit slow. Its mainly the tendancy of modern browsers to personalise you experience and store things on their servers just to help you.

I've been looking at a few alternatives. So far the list is:

Chrome
Firefox
Palemoon
Opera
Torch
Midori

but I've yet to find one that is both fast and allows the browser history & cookies to be cleared on exit and fas and add blocker.

Any others that have been tried and work well on titchy slow machines?
